Sandra Piretti works with the material of film, with accidents and blurs, whether deliberate or accidental. She composes and recomposes her images. Then she gives them a medium: paintings, frescoes, stained glass, leporello, books. Her photographic work is increasingly exhibited outside the mainstream. From exhibitions in galleries and dedicated art spaces in her early days in Paris and Geneva (Art en l’Ile, Musée Rath, Galerie Maya Guidi, Espace Forces Motrices, Villa du Parc, etc.), in recent years she has moved on to outdoor exhibitions, presenting the fresco Nous sommes les rêveurs (We are the dreamers) suspended in the middle of a gigantic hall with horses running through it, or a stained glass window, Post Tenebras Lux, in a field.
